well, i started this forum becuase i was thinking…is campaign ALL that offline people have to do!!! becuase that is pretty stupid if thats how it is and i might not even buy the game if thats how it is!!! and please help me and tell me if thats how it is? and please all brink people, i dont mean anything by but i really need to know

i have no idea wtf you are even asking, is campaign the only thing to do offline? no, you can do everything you do online, offline… except play with other people.

for a guy who knows everything about Brink, you’re coming prety late with your objections.
offline you could play the game Campaign style for each faction, with each body type, and each class, but then the bots learn with you so stuff becomes hard to predict

First of all, thank you very much for creating this forum, I really enjoy visiting it daily and participating in the discussions.

Secondly, if you want to play alone and do stuff without online elements, they offer the Campaign linear option along with Challenges, which they have said will need to be done to unlock certain things for your characters. If they’ve said what, I’ve forgotten exactly what those unlocks are.

And finally, I don’t see the offline being the big selling factor in this game. It’s known for “seamlessly” combining the single-player and multiplayer platforms. They’ve even stated that this is a multiplayer game. Even if those multi"players" are bots, it’s all going to be a similar style of game. Online or off.

Maybe cam_sk8ter is talking about steam, because sometimes if you dont have a internet conection you cant even log in at steam so you cant play steam games.

I’ve never had a problem running games on Steam without an internet connection. That’s what Offline Mode is for :slight_smile:

There is also stopwatch mode, apart from campaigns.
