official ET map pack?

There’s a possibility there will be an unofficial map pack. We’re discussing it but we’ll see if it happens…

ok, thanks for the quick reply but i don’t just mean official SD made maps. i mean good fan made maps which made it into an officially released pack by activision or something like that…

AFAIK, there was the 1024x3 competition recently and there were talks to put that in a pk3 and release it to the public but maybe you should post in that thread. It’s in the stickies up there…

Hi,

Those maps has been on pk3 sometime now. The final map pack with bug fixes are going to happen anytime now. The thread is no longer sticky, only the voting thread and that has ended (the voting I mean). Sock should have unsticyed the thread… but he has forgotten. Those 1024^3 maps aren’t so good for public play because they are only good for about 3vs3 or max 6vs6.

so is this ongoing 2003/04 competition idea still ongoing or up to date? the last entry was a while ago and noone official wrote something since half a year. i wonder if anybody cares about new maps… :frowning: :slight_smile:

The pack me and seven were talking about is not an official map pack, it was a competition that happened and was done a while ago. Last I heard they were waiting for some minor bug fixes from certain mappers I won’t name :smiley: lol Shouldn’t be too long until it’s released I guess…
