Odenthal Beta1 (fixx)

Hey dudes,

edit: fixxed the texturebug =)

i finally got it managed to bring my first bigger competition map into Beta1 status.

I’ve set up a small info page about my map here (thx to Eicher)

Because of that just some general infos and 1-2 screens here:

Name: Odenthal
Mapper: Jens ‘eiM’ B.
Type: Competition map (3v3 , 6v6)
Spawntimes: Axis 30s , Allies 20s
Average duration: 5-10 Minutes
Worked time: 3 Month (for beta1)

There are two known bugs:

  • generator image @ commandmap is missing
  • 1textur fit problem @ commandpost

But because of these i did not want to make a new compilation (i did about 15 the last days ;o).

So if you have any suggestions or bugs just tell me here or in #reVeal.et @ Quakenet.

Maybe I can organise a server with the map so that you can test it online but dunno yet.

Hmm, I think it’s nice, but I won’t download betas (etmain is full of them :shock:)

In your map are missing textures ( oreange squares )

sure about that? for me + on my server there are no texturebugs (besides the Generator on commandpost)

Do you have custom maps on your server?
Always terst maps in a clean install (better: map in clean install).

It is a very good competition map. It got enough potential for the league mappools.

voice script
• as allied i got “destroy the generator” then “defend the generator” straight after it
• if axis joined after tank had blown door they still were told to “stop the tank”

texture/graphics
• missing texture on treestump at initial allied spawn
• many light leaks around initial allied spawn
• first building allies get to has no door… only windows

from console:

but the server is a bit too far away for the europe guys but well maybe also in australia there is a small interest for my map :wink:
