Frankly, I wasn’t sure where I should add this because I have no idea what causes it, but I now finally felt like saying this somewhere. There is something off with… hitting. Two things have been happening at least for me, one is that the damage is delayed so that the enemy dies good half a second after I’ve stopped shooting. The other one is that hits just don’t seem to do anything, so that I can hear for example something like 4 head shot sounds and couple body shots, but the enemy kills me and walks away with various amounts of health. And as a side note: is it for others also that when you die and there comes the little info dump about the person who killed you, sometimes the remaining health on that person is completely wrong, maybe delayed? Often people who I shot have 100hp in the info dump but when I look at their health bar while incapped it’s not full. There is a visible delay also on the enemy health bars while I am shooting them. But this might be intentional, idk
These things hava been happening in USA and EU servers, against players with all kinds of pings as far as I can remember. I don’t know if these things are known, intentional, if this warrants its own thread, if this should be on the bug board, but I am just genuinely perplexed by this. I’ve started to notice the death delay and non-damaging bullets more during the past weeks, but this might be just because the weeks before that I just didn’t yet have enough experience with the shooting.
