Nexon in their infinite wisdom have decided to take away the private servers they gave out for the dirty cup, so it’s pretty unlikely we’ll be able to get anything for this. Do you have enough people that are at least level 7 that we can use the in-game matchmaking to start a pug? I’ll try to be there if you can get anything going

I’m wheelbarrow in game btw, just can’t be bothered changing name here when the randomly generated ones are so good

G’day!
I think that should work most are lv 7 or close should be able to make it work

No i did not! i’ll try and find it!

Also o help fill servers (for aussies) we have been using this group http://steamcommunity.com/groups/australiandirtybomb
To advert times we are trying to fill a server, ANYONE has permissions for these adverts for the same reason.
I imagine we would use it for pugs to start off with.

I bought a vps yesterday and have set everything up to play, I had to learn everything about running a vps on a linux system, it was great fun and a bit of a challenge, so if anyone is competent in this field I have a few additional things I’d like to do but I don’t really know how (eg. setting a script to run ts automatically on server boot, so at the moment the teamspeak will be down for a few hours until I get home).

I’ll be laying out some rules this afternoon so hopefully we can get some pugs going. This rules will be very similar to DirtyCups as it seems like the most logical way of doing it successfully (Thanks Oen). To be able to play these pugs you will need teamspeak because it will make it extremely easy to organize with the ability to sort teams by moving people to different rooms. In saying this I won’t always be there so I will be looking for a few moderators to help control pugs in the near future once we see some growth.

On a side note, to anyone reading this that lives in oceania or wants to get the community going down here the main priority is to give keys to all your mates as the actual player base is limited let alone the player base that is interested in competitive play.

EDIT: This forum doesn’t like curse words

I think at the moment you’re probably best off picking one day a week and calling that pug night, there’s more chance of getting 10 people on at the same time like that than just hoping that it happens randomly. There’s just not enough people yet to hope that you can get them running whenever someone feels like it

(Daltcore) #12

That’s a great idea, in saying that we just had our first pug ever! We all had a ball and the main way we got people to join was just inviting all our mates, the group still works well. The main problem is lack of players, but with places like Alienware I got 5 aussie blokes to get the game today alone.

The pug was good we had more interested but they weren’t high enough level. After last weekend shouldn’t take too much longer
