Obsidian Loadout Cards

I didn’t really know where else to put this, since they fall under Weapons and Perks, but more so than what they do, I’m under the impression that we are going to get a crate that allows us to get one at random. While I am happy we are being rewarded for being in the Beta, I wish you would allow us to choose which card we get, or allow us to trade with someone a card of equal value (I.E. Another Obsidian Card). The idea that I might get a limited time card that I’ll never use or be able to show off almost horrifies me, especially since I want to play this game for a very long time. So I’m asking if others would also like to be able to choose the card they get, or would rather get a random card that they might not use (or the one that you really want if you’re lucky ;D)

TL;DR - Splash Damage can we please be allowed to pick which Obsidian Card we get :frowning:

I also agree. That’s a big exclusive item you gift to us here. That’s a very nice move from you guys, but if we get a card for a character we hate we’ll be very disappoint. And at the end it’s like if we didn’t recieved anything.

Yeah, it’s like getting a Christmas present from your grandparents as a kid, you know it’s a good thing, and it was nice that they got you a new game, but they got you Hello Kitty’s Adventures instead of Dirty Bomb.

The whole point of an exclusive reward like that is that you should not be able to acquire in any other way, so it should either be non-tradeable or only tradeable for another of the same kind.

But yeah, it suck if we get a random one… :frowning:

That’s why I said we could do trading where you have to trade cards of equal value (Gold not included in this, it would just act like its Rarity (Uncommon, Rare, Etc.)).

Yup.

Yesterday I got a crate and looked at the cards it contains. And there was the red Fragger-card with the LMG, the .40 Revolver and the Cricket bat. (I’m a western-fan, so the revolver was the main-thing). And then I ended up with the Aug-rifle on Arty. That made me pretty grmbl :’(

yup getting a card for a char we don’t play nor like would be a bit sad.

also a trade option would be nice, for example if you get a loadotucard you already have…

The thing is, as the crate/key system will be (you’ll also have to drop/buy keys to open the crates), it’s just pure RNG madness. Not to mention that most of the loadouts are not worth a penny. I’d way prefer to have the opportunity to also spend experience money on loadouts I’m looking for than praying and making circles around my computer and then smash my keyboard when I click the open crate button.

I heard a RUMOR that there’s suppose to be a crafting system, I assume it’s gonna be like “Give 20 cards of X or 20 Random common cards for one crafted Uncommon” and so on, so that could be useful for regular cards. I just really want our one-time only Obsidian cards to be choice based instead of having to pray to RNGesus.

Seeing some of the cards shown in the promo, the Proxy and Vasili cards have an awesome passive ability combination, I’d enjoy a Fragger card even more if it gave him his default lmg rather than a rifle and quickdraw was replaced with an explosive or reload perk.

So It happened guys… And they were all random… Welp, I’m NEVER gonna use this Sawbonez Card since he is my least favorite merc, so idk what to do now.

Wait for trading to be implemented? I’m still downloading the update so I don’t know what I’ll be getting, but I would sure prefer a Sawbonez over a Vassili…

Yep, time to wait for this Proxy Card to dust in, cause i ain’t gonna touch it. This annoys me more than if we would not’ve been given anything. I sure appreciate free things, but this is just…grmbl. Would’ve like to at least seen some kind of title, or Avatar Pic to show we were there…

kinda sad you can’t trade or sell it, I really wanted a proxy obsidian or vassili :confused:
