so like the title says if the timer runs out it should run out and give one team a win it should NOT give them extra time if they put c4 at the end of the match it shouldn’t even count not give them extra time

Do you mean overtime? It gives the attackers a chance to win a close game with a desperate push. It’s perfectly fine as it stands.
don’t think of it as extra time. Think of the timer as ‘time to plant a C4’: as in, all times plus 50seconds.
Overtime is one of the best features of objective, and always makes for very exciting moments. It also keeps the game played till the last second, rather than make you wait for 50seconds, when the round was over anyways.
I’ve notice now that even escorting the EV have overtime. Can anyone explain how it work?

Thanks for the explanation but I encounter overtime in another situation. The map was Chapel and I’m on the defenders’ side. Attacker’s EV was 2/3 in the final position (left the back wheels still not in place) when we disable it. I think we defended it for around 5+ min. When near the time expire, their proxy(s) start to do suicidal charges for a last ditch effort to repair the EV. They eventually manage to repair till like 9/10 hp of the EV when timer reach zero. I was about to type “gg” when the time turn into overtime.
I was standing there confused when attackers make a final push and repair the last bit and push the EV forward. At the point we have no more momentum and lose the third phase very fast. So I was trying to look for a answer here.
I think it’s perfect. So if a team is unable to push correctly or deal with the enemy the Game ends quickly. If they do, they deserve extratime for sure if it’s close.
It keeps Games “shorter” then normal. Also Obj can be disconnected/joined all over. So all players can fit perfectly and play with a good base of experience.
I would say remove Games from serverlist with less then lets say 3 minutes playtime. So you do not join in and loose/win right while in loadscreen, thats annoying to wait again all over.

I ran into a similar situation. No one there, EV not moving, get’s repaired. We managed to win, but I think it might be a bug.
