Objective Text needs a slight change

This really threw me off when i started playing Brink. For example when you have to plant an HE charge and THEN defend it, it tells you on the objective wheel and objective title thing to (for example in Sec Tower) “defend the conduit”. Could it be changed in a later patch to, for example, “plant charge on conduit”.

Also there is some corrupted text in the game. For example when i wait to respawn whilst incapacitated the text at the top of the screen is unreadable. If you have not seen this i can post a screen shot.

Agreed.

“Guard” and “Defend” are too similar.

Please replace the use of offensive “guard” objectives with the word “Assault”. It conveys perfectly what the offense must do, and is the proper tactical term when taking an objective zone from the enemy.

I do believe that Soldiers get “Plant Charge” specifically. The issue is that the other 3 classes are requested to “Guard” something that they do not yet control.
