NQ started as an open source project. It became closed source after 1.2.7 I think, so right now it is closed source, but I think you can still use the old sources? But obviously it’s a bad idea to claim that you are the new NQ team when you’re not. That’s just damaging for everybody involved.

Not intend to use NQ source, was was very confused since what I knew NQ is closed source which is good.

But now this dude makes alot unclear, shame.

A mod being open source and you being able to package changes into new pk3 files doesn’t automatically make you the ‘official developer’. :slight_smile:

I wouldn’t call any of the Gold Rush modifications for W:ET official, despite the map being ‘open-sourced’ with the release of the level editor.

Besides, I’d expect any official or serious team to have their own website to keep their fans updated regularly and host downloads (not sendspace).
