I have a question however. How is the file cgame_mp_x86.dll created? Since it’s not provided in the downloaded package, I guess it’s generated in game. I’m wondering because I can’t seem to launch my server without it (lan server with omni bot 0.71). If it’s not located in the nq directory I get this error: “Client hacking IP”. So the solution right now is to first connect to a server with nq 1.2.7, let the file being generated and then launch my server. It is no big deal but this may be a problem for the installer I made for ET (ETUI).
Is it wrong if I provide the cgame file with the installer? Is the file specific to each computer?

My guess it’s unzipped if W:ET NQ 1.2.7 is launched.

You’re right! and it’s the same than the one generated when connecting to a nq server, so I guess it is not related to the computer characteristics.

so does it effect hitboxes or your aim or the feel to shooting in anyway? and is it safe to use?

Missing infos have been added to the wiki. Well g_simpleBullets 1 maybe future default setting. It’s much faster than the old code and should produce same result. Therefor it was marked as experimental. Just give it a try.
Some admins/players did also complain about less aim or shaky screeny with 1.2.7 thompson/mp40. Change the spread to 400 of both weapons if you don’t like it.

i have a problem with the Hitbox seems it is missed up now with nq 127 but must be one of mine setting i think
i still have this line in mine noquarter config.cfg
set g_hitboxes 31
and i dont find anymore in the noquarter-commented :

A bug I’ve seen:
On cathedral if a radar part is returned after a certain time without being carried the line “has been returned by Allied” is printed in the HUD.
Shouldn’t it be Axis in that case?

Well since it doesn’t exists, also if you set it, it would not to change the behavior ingame, cos it does…nothing! Of course, remove it but not to solve the “problem” but just to clean up the server cfg
About the “problem”, players says lot of things ( i like that, i don’t like this etc etc etc ), so did you noticed the “problem” as well? Maybe the player had just a bit of lag…or maybe it’s just the spread of light weapons increased from 400 to 600 that makes them say “omg why i don’t hit his head?!”.
Be more clear about the problem, with more details, and i can be more clear too…

Ha! I’ve found that my favourite server browser has been discontinued and it’s own trackers have already been down since 15 May 2008. That’s probably reason why it have found only 3 servers instead 100.

our server NQ 127 crashed tonight 2 times in a row and i had to restart it with the server site control panel
was on V2 factory and battery
noone noticed a major lag
and we had absolutly nothing in the logs If the server stops for any reason, it prints a message to our “Events log” that shows the most recent console lines, then also restarts the server.
was not a cpu problem or a network issue aswell
strange cuz since we started to play NQ 127 we have these maps and we never crashed before…

as stated on the site they scan all ET servers on regular intervals and check certain stats.
One of those stats is the mod, and since the 1.2.7 it’s easy to pick out since they changed the directory to nq
