Now you work, now you don't.

Yep, the brushes will inherit all the surfaceparms of the model’s shader(s).

@Mr_Tickles:

Don’t use -filter in your -light compiles. Just use -samples 2. Filter overrides Samples.

Thanks :slight_smile:

Lol, I seem to keep getting problems for you ratty, sorry. Did you ever manage to re-create the dual water surfaces?

hee hee, np as their interesting problems, and that water test is still on my to do list, but I had a couple of weeks off mapping while I worked on a couple of other things plus some rl stuff that needed my attention… anyway, I`ll let you know what those tests show for me, when I eventually get round to them.

Cool, thanks :slight_smile:

oh and I forgot to say last time, I can see from the shaders path and the dir listing that the image does indeed appear to be missing, hee hee I don`t understand this either.

you don`t happen to be a cat do you Mr_Tickles? …because you and me trying to work together on these various problems is sure looking jinxed :wink:

Wait, so how do you create a shader for a model skin? Couldn’t you just use the surfaceparms clipmissile and slick to get the same results?
