I’ve been reading with great interest about many of the mapping projects that are already in progress. Now that the tools are finally out, I’m curious to hear a wild guess of when some of the first maps might begin to appear.
1 week? 3 weeks? What kind of timeframe are you guys looking at? God the suspense is killing me. I gotta get my soundcard working SOON damnit!
Keep up the great work guys, the player made maps have always been my favorites to play…
Hopefully people have been planning and doing the brushwork for the maps all along so it shouldn’t be that much of a wait. In theory, if people figure out how to add the ET content and setup the various script objects and whatnot, they can use the work they’ve already done so far (well, it is in theory).
At least I’ve been working on brush tests in RtCW and doing WWII research on the net and at libraries. Now I just have to figure out how to piece everything together.
Probably a few months before my project is released. We have a lot of scripting planned, and I’m getting married in two weeks… plus a week long honeymoon, and then I have to find a job

I am aiming for a release sometime next week if all goes as planned.
Still having some difficultys figuring out some things i need in my map.
Brushwork is all done so i am off to completing the goals and construtable stuff.
Right now i am adding models to get the right touch to the landscape.
