Your method forces teams to have similar completion times across all objectives,
Yes that would be ideal, as it shortens play time and keeps players interested in playing.
…and will likely result in excessive draws on several maps in current comp (e.g. neither team will finish bridge fix on first obj, neither team will get past 1st obj underground)
If there truly are excessive draws then a draw condition will have to be invented, but that’s not something I’ve brainstormed.
For example, if neither team completes the first objective; EV maps would be won based on the team with the most EV repair progress; C4 maps would be won by the team with the most objective-planted C4 time (meaning C4 on the doors in Underground don’t count towards the overall plant time, etc. If you plant 6 times and each time the C4 is there for 30 seconds before being defused, then you have 30 x 6 seconds of C4 time). This also means that the second team wins the moment they repair more/C4 longer than the first team, if the first team didn’t complete the first obj.
And if NEITHER team EVER plants or EVER gets a repair down, sudden death? But I sincerely doubt that condition would ever happen.
