Not receiving gamemode xp for C4 related stuff

It doesn’t happen every game but a lot of games (it happened to me in 2 games already, both times on Underground Stopwatch if that matters) there’s this bug which does not give you gamemode xp for planting a C4 and not when it detonates.

I planted C4 on both generators (should’ve gotten 200xp for that) and they both exploded (so another 600xp) but when I looked in the scoreboard I noticed I had only like 200 something xp which I got for kills.
I also planted the bomb in the primary objective and it even said on top “Frosty planted C4” but I got no xp for it. I didn’t get the 1000xp after it detonated either

I don’t really care about xp that much but when you have a mission to get 6,000 gamemode xp it’s really difficult to complete it with this bug. I hope you can fix it in the 2nd part of Summer Squash

I can confirm that on many games today including 5 rounds of ranked. I did not receive at all the XP for the C4 on the main and the secondary obj, especially that I planted on all primary and secondary on almost every single round.

5 rounds in ranked? What?
Do you mean execution? But if you do, there are no secondary objectives in exec. I’m confused

Not execution, ranked rounds, like stopwatch.

But ranked is Stopwatch. And Stopwatch only has 2 halves in it?

Eh whatever. The important thing is that I’m not the only one having this bug, thanks for confirming I guess

yeah, c4 stuff doesn’t give you any xp. Played in Objective and stopwatch servers today, got nothing from blowing stuff up.

Confirmed. Issue also happening to me: I don’t receive XP for planting, or defusing.

Actually I still get the xp for defusing as normal. Are you sure you don’t get it?
Try to play a game as an objective specialist on defense and defuse a bomb. Look if you got the xp (press tab to be sure). Because for me there is no problem with defusing, just planting and detonating

I experienced that bug too in last match before few minutes. I played on Trainyard map (Attacker side) with Proxy whole match. During the match I have done following objectives:

  1. Fixed secondary objective (to close the gate).
  2. Plant C4 on primary objective and it blew.
  3. Fixed secondary objective (to open the gate).
  4. Plant C4 in that vagon and it blew.

On the end of the match I got 1066 gamemode xp which is a proof that detonating objectives with C4 is bugged.

Here is also a video that I took: Click here to go to youtube. On that video you can see that I didn’t got any exp from planting on secondary objective on Underground map with Fragger. Note that I didn’t check my score on scoreboard but anyway that was something that worked before update and not it isn’t working (at least visualy). Also a loading bar while planting is missing - that happens when reviving too (but not always).
