Not bad, SD.. not bad at all

Actually, pretty damn great.

The lag in this game is atrocious. Not sure what bugs or glitches everyone else is talking about because I, personally, have a hard time finding a game with minimal lag.

However, when I do find a good match, the game is AMAZING. I have recently discovered Competition match type (bye bye bots) and found quite a few good matches last night with minimal lag. I can’t remember the last time I’ve played a game with so much teamwork. There was constant USEFUL chatter (not some little kids whining and moaning or just being annoying). There was actual COORDINATION – ON A CONSOLE (who knew?) The best part was that it wasn’t just my team. The other team was working together also.

SD, please fix the lag soon because I want to have more games like this. The game has only been out for a few days and I can’t even find this degree of teamwork and competition in Battlefield unless it’s some clan match.

Well said man, Ill hit you up when it arrives to me in England.
I pre-ordered from Amazon first class on the 9th of this month and there telling me “dispatch estimate 13th, Delivery Esimate 16th” wtf is this the 1400’s, is Christopher Columbus delivering me this first hand via he’s ship Amazon?

Sorry just really annoys me, and first class even says “2 Days” THE AUDACITY!

Yeah I’ve been playing with a few guys from this forum. But it’s also not hard at all to find people willing to work as a team. I think this reminds me of the days of Left4Dead (NOT L4D2) when the majority of people used teamwork (And if you didn’t have a headset plugged in you got booted). Except the chatter is more constant in this game.

The best part is that everyone was having fun. There were no campers trying to farm kills or people lone-wolfing it (and if they did, their team lost). No one cares about KD, which is awesome because no one hesitates risking multiple deaths to push the objectives! When someone gets frustrated about dying multiple times, it’s because they’re trying to complete the objective and not because their KDR is taking a huge hit.

I’ll admit, I care about KDR in other games. It’s hard for me not to because I’m a competitive person and KDR and individual achievement is really the main focus in other games (at least that’s what it feels like). This game does it differently, so everyone competes for objectives and not for kills.

I assume you are playing this on 360?

So far i am dusapointed with SD, not that i don’t like the game or anything, the fact that the game feels unfinished. But i trust SD will fix it. I have not tried online because psn is down, but if 360 has good players im sure there will be quite alot of teamwork on ps3 aswell.

Yes, it’s on 360.

If you can’t play the game online, don’t judge it yet. Bots cannot replace the online experience with other humans.
