Noob rant

I needs to kill all teammates after a 3 second warning and everyone on the team should get a message who killed them. And a 50% offer on pitchforks.

Forget the text and the animations and all that, why not just have it do nothing

Unless you are more capable at completing the objective you sit there with your gun out and nothing happens. People will figure out that the objective is “busy” and know not to try interacting with it

The issue is not that the message is not big enough. The issue is that the message is totally unclear. “Teammate Repairing” does not really explain that only one person can build the objective. Better changing it for “Teammate Repairing : cover him !”. Slightly longer message, yet way more understandable information.

Please for the love of God can you make a game rule so that only ONE person can defuse at a time

Either way I would love a system which would work like this: Normal merc > Merc with mechanic > Engineer.

Well… this already works like this.
But it looks like “teammate repairing” line should be in capitals, in 10 times bigger scale and cover whole screen to be more obvious.
Actually the progress bar should not be even showing once somebody else is repairing or defusing. That is why it is so confusing for many people.

‘only one person can repair at a time’

I found a quickfix guys.

How about the stacker is just removed from the animation entirely and is unable to interact with the objective while the Engineer/Mechanic is completing the objective?

(neverplayseriou) #28

@DexterGrif when an obj is about to explode it can be handy to have 2 people defusing imo

(bontsa) #29

@neverplayserious Yep, despite being extremely rare cases I’ve been in few of those. Hence why I dont think making the animation stop completely is a good idea, but rather display the message in more clear way.

A slap in the face still wouldn’t be bad tho :>>

(Nail) #30

you can’t fix stupid with an ingame message and many of the proposed solutions won’t work if engi is killed while repairing

(DexterGrif) #31

I think they need to make the Defib revive symbol bigger as well, so that Rookie Auras stop ignoring me. I honestly don’t mind playing Phoenix, but still, I’d love to not have to “Do it myself!” Every. Damn. Time.
