First have a look at the working example in the map goldrush. Also look at the script for details on how to make it work. The ET reference manual also has 10 pages of goodness on what the tank scripting is about. Finally have a look at this thread.

But be warned, creating a scripted tank is not an easy task and will involve alot of work on your part finding out how it works. There is no tutorials or quick fixes atm.
