No votekick during matchmaking?

I was playing a round of 5v5 comp the other day with 2 of my buddies when we encountered an enemy aimbot-user.
It’s already an annoyance when you meet those cheaters on normal servers but what makes it especially bad during matchmaking is the fact that they cannot be kicked because votekick seems to be disabled.
At least the other players on his team said they wanted to kick him so why not allow votekick or some kind of vote-forfeit? It’s at least a quick fix that could be implemented easily.

vote kick is there but voting never ever works

Not in ranked matchmaking servers.

To answer OP-s question. It is disabled to stop people from boosting their ranks or nullifying their results when they are losing.

yep, ranked matchmaking is a paradise for cheaters at the moment
they can’t be kicked and you can’t leave without a penalty

Vote to forfeit the match to which at least 7 players need to agree to … that way no one can nullify a loss and cheaters don’t get their “satisfaction”, how about that?
