…people under 18, please make it happen. Those screaming kids hurts my ears and before i have the time to mute them i have been killed at least once, have bleeding ears and /or left the game

Screaming kids in voip have been usually insta-votekicked as per my experience^^
Sometimes my team doesn’t because we laugh in amusement as the kids scream random thing.
Once I was in a game ( one of my first) and I tried directing my team through voip. I have a pretty deep voice but still, this one guy, as soon as I said anything. Would just say “Shut up!”
I tried joking with him but he wouldn’t stop, and people in our team kept trying to talk and he’d just keep saying shut up.
Suffice to say I didn’t use voip for a while after XD but yeah, it’s not always the prepubescent kids that are annoying. Literally anyone on voip that isn’t talking sense is xD
Consumerism is strong in these “shutup” voip fellas though. It still baffles me to this day why would they even see the effort and spend money on buying microphone/headset with it only to attempt, uselessly, deny others around using such device?
make it so anyone with a voice over a certain pitch is immediately locked out of the game. easy.
To be completely honest though, yes sqeaky voice is annoying but I can highly doubt and if I dug deep enough would provide evidence even; none of you fellas sounded like middle-aged Morgan Freeman through your puberty and even the heck less before it. But since that evidence digging would be waste of time, our common knowledge of pre- and postadolescent anatomy of the voice producing organs functions as my proof.
If the voice alone annoys you, simply mute and be over with it. I’ve tried listening behind the voice, see if theres anything good in the message this young grasshopper is attempting to bring forth. If he’s just your average CoD kiddo who’s mindset is dead-locked into “ggez my work 110%” when winning and “nub taem u suck” when losing I’d preferably even black-list them so they would be instamuted for me if I ever happen to meet them again in-game. Sadly nowadays age isn’t even a factor in that mindset, heard quite a few mid-20’s with same bollocky attitude. But I’ve actually managed to have quite nice conversations with couple pre-teens about games and gaming and even philosophy once they drop the attitude. All that once attempting to ignore the voice and listen instead.

I’ve played with enough really young people, who “Sounded like small kids” who were really good teamplayers, and I had much fun. They should be voice-blocked, because some of them are annoying? It’s like saying all Blacks steal stuff and all Asians eat dogs, and all Whites can’t dance and are racist…

shrug I kind of anticipate this would be motivation for most of them. Borrowing some content Bartle’s “gamer” taxonomy; I’ve just never understood the mindset of the Killer types. If such weird entertainment route can be counted towards that type anyway. My comment was mostly horrible attempt to be snarky towards the behaviour like that, as some of this type of fellas will be reading forums. Not that it’d sadly change anything though. Mute’n’forget.
In general I mute every voice chat person. Ive only seen a couple in my 400+ hours in the game that have actually been helpful. Most get too excited at some point and start yelling for medics, or team raging, or have no idea how to set their mic up for volume and clarity.
I will give them a chance tho but that ‘muteall’ button is always close by.

It would be great to turn off voip. Am I blind, or is this impossible? Sadly, when I hear anyone talking thru it, it’s almost always some troll. Rarely see someone’s actually contributing to the game.
