I too am deaf, found out the hard way that this game doesn’t have any subtitles.

Unfortunately this means im going to return it.

from what ive seen with the dismal accents in the game how they thought no subtitles was a good idea, is beyond me lol

There is a subtitle cvar, it’s set to 1 (on) by default but something is amiss?

In addition to captions for videos etc, I would like a small scrolling list of my team mates when they select objectives, such as where they are going or what they spotted, etc. This is a must need because of my hearing. Would be much better to have a small side ticker, or scroll bar at bottom from right to left etc.

What saddens me even more now is that their most recent workaround for German users who game is freezing up is to go into the audio menu and turn the Dialogue slider all the way down, but you can’t put on any captions. Pathetic.

MY english is not very good, so when I listen somebody who speaks with a strong accent I’m like “whut?”
