No steam overlay

after the 64 bit client update my steam overlay has just been not appearing, and its a pain to have to tab out for steam messages and such. i have tried looking up the issue for games in general and did all those fixes, but no forum for this game has the issue listed, so im scared that its just me and only me that ever has this issue xD. i was briefly able to fix the issue last week but after the latest update a few days ago, its all messed up again.

anyone have any ideas on how to fix? i will try anything

A user on Discord had the same problem, according to him the issue is related to geforce experience. You have to close it, only then the Steam overlay will be accessible again.

If exiting GeForce Experience doesn’t fix the issue. Try disabling RiveTuner Statistics, if you have that running. Seems there are conflicts with other overlays running simultaneously as the Steam overlay.
