No sound?

didn’t work for me; says internal system error occurred. I checked the log and a lot of the dlls say “newer one already installed”…i need help

i had the same issue, however, sound worked fine in the tutorial and challenges but vanished as soon as i went online.

Run Steam as administrator people, it worked for me.

I was getting no sound running it through my Envy24 card which is set as the windows default. Reboot etc didn’t work. So I swapped my windows default sound to my onboard sound and then ran brink again and I think it auto ran the directx that someone suggested and everything started working. Just annoying that it wasn’t working with the soundcard. Going to try and swap everything back and run the directx and see if it will work properly.
