i did a search and could not find an answer to my problem
i am a new mapper using the source from railgun_final as a learing tool
and other than footfalls and player related sounds i have no sound
i have created speakers for ambient sounds
scripted in my map
“togglespeaker <scriptname>”
and i made a .sps file with my map name on it in sound
created a speaker and loaded noise to the sound file i wanted
and nothing
any ideas im sure it is something easy
