I think I’ve found at least ONE of the reasons for the sound dropping from games. As engineer, if I am trying to repair my minigun, or build an MG nest and I get hit with a grenade – any type – the audio will drop out completely. Only my party can talk to me, and I have to restart my xbox to get audio back.
On top of that, I am having constant “Fatal Error” crashes to the dashboard (Xbox 360) and dont have a fix for it. I even went back to the retail outlet I purchased the game at and swapped discs. The crashes are more prevalent when I DONT have the game installed to HDD, but still occur infrequently when installed. The game will completely freeze (more often) when installed, and “fatal error” crash when not installed.
I can’t even play this anymore, as the crashes are too constant. I can upload a video of a crash, if you’d like an idea of what I’m dealing with.
