Since I am creating maps on my new pc I don’t see a skybox when I am playing RTCW.
The strange thing is, when I copy the map to my laptop and play it there, the skybox is there.
When I’m playing other maps created by other users, there is no problem with the skybox on my pc. But when I change, f.e. mp_beach, the skybox disappears.
What could be the problem?

You might have a setting in your config which hides the skybox. Try to open the console by pressing the “~” key, then enter this:
/seta r_fastsky 0
From now on, the skybox will always be drawn.
Be wary though, if you don’t have a skybox you’ll see the dreaded “Hall Of Mirrors” (HOM) effect.
BTW: In the future, please shrink pictures. They don’t play nice with the forum software.
