No Proxy loadout with Lock-On

(yenku) #1

…just noticed it now -.-

If Lock-on reduce react time by 30% for mines too, why Proxy has no loadouts with Lock-on ?
How could this help mines ?
Am I missing something ?
thx.

Edit: I mean, Why the perk description says it helps mines too, if there are, actually, no Proxy loadouts with lock-on. nvm.

Edit 2: not gonna say I want Proxy loadout with Lock-on… please no.

I believe the devs have already balanced the mines around Proxy without Lock-On, so I guess it’s just not a perk she needs. Honestly, mines that detonate 30% faster would be impossible to react to.

(Jostabeere) #3

Yeah. No. Thanks. We don’t need mines being stronger than now.
The current update already made them pretty much veeery strong by reducing the cooldown, increasing the detect area and making them less visible and their damage-area is still not a hemisphere but a cylinder.

(Haki) #4

But then they should still change the description of the Lock-On perk, if it’s not on any loadouts that have mines.

(RyePanda) #5

Or maybe when they add more cards one of those will have it.

NO! FUCK THAT IDEA!

I hate her mines enough as it is since the only times I see them or hear them is when it’s too late.

Yeah…to me she is the most annoying merc in the game now…especially if she is a spray and pray with a shotgun who jumps around like a monkey on coke…all it takes is one lucky shot with a shotgun to ruin my day before I can take her down.

(DarkMatterMatt) #8

I’m pretty sure the damage goes up and down through everything, so on underground you can place a mine on the second objective area and have it kill people still hanging round the first objective. Can anyone confirm?

(LifeupOmega) #9

…What? No. It hits in a circular radius around the detonation point.

(Kingsley) #10

That would be the dream

Yes. The Mines can’t kill through solid objects.

(Dawnlazy) #12

She clearly needs more cards with Pineapple Juggler and Fail Safe, what are you all talking about?

(NightingaleZ0) #13

Is it me or I just cannot hate Proxy. Like she is kawaiidesuchan or something lol. Waifu op. I find it kinda troll and when I die to it I am just like awwwwwww and forget about it. But other annoyances such as sticky bombs I sigh and feel annoyed. lol

I’ve been saved once or twice by the data core I was holding. I still got hit for most of my health but I didn’t die.

(OatmealFox) #15

Jeez guys, give Proxy some love!

(Feley) #16

No.

(Jostabeere) #17

No.

(Ardez1) #18

If I remember correctly Fletcher’s stickies used to auto-explode and be considered mines in addition to having a manual trigger, but they were considered too similar to Proxy and were changed. This is based on what other players have told me, so take it with a HUGE grain of salt. I might be talking gibberish here.

Just a possible scenario. There is also always the possibility of more mine style mercs in the future(I would assume) as well as possibilities for mercs to get additional loadouts if that is what SD decides.

(Drcipres) #19

Sure, let’s make them explode fast enough so they can deal 150 dmg or something like that
