No one plays StopWatch?

It seems like nearly all the servers are objective servers. I see the only real difference is that the teams switch after each round. Then again I think a lot of people don’t know what StopWatch is.

Stopwatch is just like objective except the teams switch sides. Instead of gaining additional time per objective, stopwatch has a set time limit and after the switch, the other team must beat their completion time to win.

I would like to see more people play StopWatch since it seems more competitive than objective.

seems stopwatch mode has a glitch right now with map change, be resolved soon, people are dying to play SW

My server hasn’t had any crashes and it has gone through all maps.

No one really ever played stopwatch as much as OBJ, except for competitively, since it works out really well for comp.

So I’m thinking a lot of people don’t know what it is. I get a huge drop in players from my server when the server switches sides, but a far less drop when it switches to a new map. I even had one player today while I was on the server go “wtf” then left.

stopwatch isn’t a common mode for most people

On pubs a big problem with Stopwatch is that you don’t play against the same team when the sides switch. At least very rarely. People join and drop all the time. Perhaps a XP penalty for leaving before the end of the 2nd match ?

Seems like the most reasonable gameplay mode actually. Id like it if there was a mode that you still switch sides but plays normally

Yeah, I’d really prefer to have my server have the objective mode timing while switching sides. Having to have a set round limit doesn’t go well all the time. I might switch it to objective tonight.

We’re tried our servers on Stopwatch mode and it confused everyone. I thought it was alright, but it seems more in line for a competition-type setting. If it allowed each side to play straight through the map, without it suddenly stopping, then compared the times at the end, that would be much better for public play.

Stopwatch just isn’t fun for pubs, it’s fun against two set teams who want to compete against each other. I avoid stopwatch like the plague in solo play.

Yeah, many of my players are getting confused with no announcer times and stuff. Just very unaware of the gameplay. If they game said something like “switching sides” then displayed times at the end I think players would enjoy it a lot more.

all 5 of our servers are stopwatch and they are all full…all the time…i can’t even get on right now unless we kick
