No offical Annoucements Yet?

(Progz) #1

This is starting to worry me. Am I the only one who missed this or something? I figured by now there would have been a offical post from the admins here or someone saying that a patch WILL be coming out THIS WEEK. NOT IN A MONTH. THIS WEEK.

I reallyyyy hope they fix this game. I find the gameplay super fun.

What’s wrong with it? Only played for two hours so far and only offline, but haven’t encountered anything. This IS on PC though. My initial impression is super positive!

(Sparrow) #3

Yea, the lag on 360 is unacceptable.

(Quad) #4

Performance is absolute garbage for tons of, if not most, people with ATI cards and there are loads of bugs, irrespective of your brand of GPU.

(Spaiker) #5

I have an ATI card. And I have zero lag, or performance issues (HD5850).

(indirect) #6

That’s not SplashDamage’s fault. Do your research before you lay the blame.

(madness) #7

At least there seem to be a bunch of SD guys reading the forums, hopefully making notes of the bugs that the people who paid money to be their beta testers posted here.
need to be patient…

(Quad) #8

It absolutely is their fault or whoever the hell did their QA. They created a game that for a lot of people doesn’t work on ANY driver revision from ATI. This is more than just ATI’s fault and Splash Damage is almost undoubtedly going to address a fix for ATI cards.

That’s not at question here. What’s at question is when they’re rolling out patches.

Some people have gotten lucky with downgrading to drivers 11.2 and 11.3.

The Xbox 360 version needs a patch for graphical issues and horrendous lag for online matches.

(vexicat) #11

On the xbox360,there’s ALOT of bugs and performance issues. the graphics seem “fuzzy”,it looks like textures refuse to load, even at the end of a match. The game seems to skip frames or have low FPS,even while playing Offline.

The core game is great, weapons, parkour, etc. I love it,It just seems broken ATM. Hopefully the game will be fixed with a few patches.

(Fetter) #12

Brink literally cannot be played on several machines that I’ve tested it on, all of which surpass the minimum standards by far. The game doesn’t even load, it just immediately crashes to desktop with no clear explanation. I’m really hoping we see a patch within the next few days, because there’s been no real word from devs yet and this is about as broken as a game can get without actually messing up other stuff on your computer.

Iam running ATI 2x 6970
Driver Packaging Version 8.84.2-110321a-115519E
Catalyst Version 11.4
crash 1 time out of 7.3 hrs play
NO problem with lag
I think I got 1 bad server were I had a crash and lag.
Game looks and runs good, and it should on what Iam playing it on.

Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3 AMD
Processor: AMD Phenom™ II X4 975 (4 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16 GB
Hard Drive:OS =128 GB SSD Kinggston+ WD 1T
Video Card: 2x AMD Radeon HD 6970 Series in crossfire.

I think your a few patches away from a GREAT game …hange in there SD, and move fast with the fixes.

I pm’d the community guy, badman (or something like that) but haven’t had a reply.

It would be nice to know where folk stand?
