so, theres no demo. everyone should know this by now. unclear if there ever will be one.

so. pc users have the benefit that brink will have support for steam. steam sometimes has free weekends where you can play a full game for a few couple of days.

what about that? are there any plans maybe?

sry if this was asked before. toka, plz dont slap me.

I would hope that they would do this sometime, but I don’t think it will happen at launch.

If you want it buy it and if you really dont want to buy it wait for a post release demo which I imagine will come and the decide…

Free weekends don’t usually happen just after release. Anyway, SD hasn’t denied there being a post-release demo, yet.

And this has been asked numerous times, it’s just that the devs have chosen not to answer.

Won’t do. Unleash The Tokamak on him.

Post release demo seems a waste compared to what a free weekend could do for the game. With the way Steam works I’d imagine any such effort would be put in place once sales started to decline.

Like the man said free weekends tend to happen quite a long time after a release to try get a little bit more interest after the hype has calmed down… a post release demo seems the most likely way to test the game before purchase.

Schizophrenic much? No, I’m not. Me either.

Free weekends happen one or two months after the release to appeal to the laggards.

to make things a bit more clear. i dont mean to do a free weekend on release day or even before that or very shortly after. i mean just a generel free weekend.

since there are still no plans or announcements for a demo and the development of a demo actually cost money, i think SD should take the advantage of steam and just offer it. one month after release would be fine.

i just would like to know if there are plans for such a thing, cause its so obvious and never mentioned before (i think).
