No crosshair

(RyePanda) #1

So I recently got some advice from someone who apparently got it from @N8o

They told me to try turning off my crosshair. And, after doing so, I did okay after a while, but was wondering if there was a way I could bind a key so I could turn my crosshair from none to full

How did it feel playing without a crosshair?

Why would you ever want to play without a crosshair? Back in my competitive CS:S day I very quickly learned how to quickscope without a crosshair when AWP’ing (I never put a dot on my monitor like others did). But other than that I can’t imagine why you’d ever not want one.

A blind seal holding a controller is most likely how it feels.

It took a game, but I started to be able to hit shots pretty reliably. I wouldn’t do it in a competitive game, but it was kinda fun.

This is probably mostly applied to snipers that they don’t really need a crosshair. If you check GuilteTV’s channel, he doesnt use crosshairs but he can still drop like 60 kills a game.

Sometimes I don’t use crosshairs but use hitmarkers instead. It does help me every now and then. I think I’m paying more attention to when I am getting hits when I only look for hitmarkers. I have a general idea of where center screen is usually.

Last time I checked he is using a small dot for a crosshair ???

For sick CoD-esque-ADS-montages of course!

But yeah, I can’t think of any reason aswell.

I meant to say play without the hitmarker. Or maybe I did say crosshair.

Anyways, I for sure meant play without hitmarker. Makes headshots millions of times easier.
For anyone that wants to know how to do it, set the hitmarker size down from 1 to 0.
