No Class Choose when entering a running Game

When I’m joining a running game Inever get the option to choose my Class and i have to play with the first class.
After the first death you can choose your class like normal.

so make the 1st merc in the lineup ur main merc so if u do enter a game half way thru u get it and dont have to qq

You should be added to the spawn wave so that you can change. I’m not sure why that wasn’t included from the beginning as the current setup feels more like a bandaid to a feature that never got implemented as opposed to working as intended.

Since you’re shown the merc loadout on entering mid-game, couldn’t they add that section to the spawn selection? So instead of being unclickable, it becomes a selection window as well?

Uhm if you enter a game midplay, you are sent to the lobby first. As long as you don’t hit deploy, you can still change your loadout. Just switch your first merc to the one you want to play (click the loadoutcard on top).

SD should save face and move away from the ‘feature’ response. It’s a rubbish ‘feature’ and needs to change, but currently it looks as though it’s one thing they’ll leave till the last minute.

He said it - the ability to change before you spawn - is not a feature. Not that it’s a feature not to be able.

I like it… I never put my main first… Because It gives me 1 life to play something other than Phantom.

Like you guys said: you can work around it by setting your main merc first or changing your load out before deployment, but it’s annoying that quick picking your merc with F1, F2, F3 can’t just be an option when joining a game in progress. I’m no dev’ but it seems like a super easy fix.

If it’s easy we dunno, but its beta and we tell the devs how we wish the game to be :wink:

Would be nice to add some thing. To have like 10secondes in an already start game to choose a class…
