I doubt the graphics specs are that great being a tablet. with out any specs released yet, im guessing that there’s a low power mobile graphics chipset for low power mobile use built into the tablet and games are set to use low graphics settings to work with the lower power chipset, while the docking station has higher power graphics chip/proccesor that allows full 1080p gaming on large tv.
As far as the demo they did on there promo vid we don’t know how much of it was simulated video and how much of it was actually being displayed/powered by the tablet. Until its in the hands of the reviewers, and or out on display at best buy/game stop to try. Final judgement cannot be based on a promo vid that lists no specs and or has possible green screen like modifications.
@Mc1412013 Yes, it does have simulated graphics in the promo video. I think I heard something about a custom NVIDIA Tegra processing unit that might be able to handle a higher rate of quality despite the mobile design to it.
The thing’s battery is so weak. You’d have to stop playing in the middle of your game sessions just to plug it back in. In fact, why even take it out in the first place? If you need to be by an outlet just to keep it powered, why even take it anywhere? Also, backwards compatibility isn’t possible for it last I heard. It’s almost like they’re just trying to find a way to make people buy the same games again.
