NGS

I don’t think NGS is particularly effective right now. For the first week or so after the new anti-cheat, the game has been cheat free. Cheaters are back though. I’ve encountered four in two days (all in Competitive matches).

Any word on NGS updates? I’d hate for NGS to be VAC’s younger sibling.

No AC is going to be 100%. There will pretty much always be cheaters. What makes a good AC is how many layers of protection it has and how responsive it is. And since NGS is being ran by Nexon/SD and since they have an investment to protect you can bet they will do what they can to remove as many as possible.

And there is the new in-game reporting feature as well you can always use.

Cheating and anti cheat programs will always be a constant game of cat and mouse. You think the cheaters see their programs get detected and are like oh well, guess we’re caught now! Better move on to another game! No, their programs are always evolving to get around the AC and therefore the anti cheat has to as well. As a result of all of this cheaters will still be in the game but with the new reporting feature and some diligence then the current cheats will be eliminated and the cheaters banned.

There are already several threads about this topic and of course something is being done about it, just yesterday they implemented a Report feature into the game for a quick and easy way to get hackers looked at and of course banned. NGS is still a new system and it has many bugs although they do not appear to affect everyone equally, but it is an overall improvement to the game regardless. Now since this is a common topic I believe the moderators would prefer to close or possibly transfer your thread into a discussion pool of the same subject. @Ardez @Amerika

Why is there so many hackers the devs need to do something about this. The game is not fun with this A**holes around.

I might stop playing if these hackers is starting to spread.
