Next Merc to Buy?

Sorry if this doesn’t go in this category.
So I have all but saved up 50k credits, and am interested in purchasing either Nader, whom I have wanted for a while, or Stoker, who seems like a lot of fun. Which merc do you like more and why? Especially after the new update?

Stoker. Nader got unintentionally nerfed hard. While her grenades are okay (maybe they should increase the outer radius a little) her Martyrdom stinks. People were rarely dying from it before but now, even if you hit someone with it there is a good chance they’ll just walk away.

Because you play proxy as your main, then I would suggest Fletcher. Same sort of playstyle, very aggressive compared to Bushwhacker and Fletcher is bags full of fun to play. Since purchasing him he’s become my top played merc. If however you don’t want an engineer/specialist I would recommend stoker or Kira. Kira is basically a skyhammer on speed, very very fast and her ability is pretty powerful, I recently bought her and I dont regret it, however the burst rifles have got the blunt end of the nerf hammer recently so maybe hold off to see if or when SD re-tweak the guns. Stoker will be on free rotation soon so maybe you could try him out before you make a decision. I personally enjoy his playstyle, I very solid merc and alot of fun to use.

To add to that, Stoker has three really good loadouts with the Mechanic perk. While it wouldn’t be a replacement for an Engineer he can certainly help repair generators, EVs and the like. He’s also really good at killing generators with his Molotov. While theoretically C4 can destroy a generator faster than Molly, if you can’t get to it to set the C4 a couple of molotovs and some bullets work wonders.
