Next merc release date

(Random Joe) #1

Is the next merc going to be released soon? I want to know because i have 50K credits and want to know if i should save or just buy a new merc that is already ingame?

(XavienX) #2

According to Miss Murder’s tease, it’s probably gonna be Stoker in about 2 weeks since RedEye just got released last week.

(CCP115) #3

This week will probably be a patch fix week, or next week will be patch week. I think they have moved new mercs to a months release.

(Random Joe) #4

So i have plenty of time to earn more credits.

(Fleshpound) #5

If you farm 10k per day or at least 8k then you have plenty of time for other mercs,if you don’t bought them or cards.

(Faraleth) #6

It has been confirmed that this week will definitely be some kind of “fine tuning” update - likely making some fixes and tweaks that are needed.

However, it was hinted at in last week’s dev streams that next week (likely 26th/27th) will be the next merc release… as for who it will be, there is no substantial information on this. c:

I hope that it doesn’t go like last fine tuning.

Phantom overnerfed, big turn speed limit while melee.(I just don’t want Red Eye to be

“nerfed to the ground”(I like to use that “nerfed to the ground” too much. Maybe for a reason

of nerfing overall in games which are 50% good and 50% bad)).

If it doesn’t fix any of Fletcher’s issues, I’m gonna be very annoyed. :rage:

(SaulWolfden) #9

There’s nothing on Redeye that needs to be nerfed, if anything I’d expect fixes (fixed Kukri range corresponding to animations, IR goggles spotting people when over half of the person is visible behind an open window, GSR sights fixed, etc).

(irishrOy) #10

but… Turtle…?

(Edzer) #11

Why are people in such a hurry of getting new mercs released lol, the last one was less than two weeks ago. I’d rather have a non-rushed merc release.

//edit

Also remember that mercs cost 50k on release, releasing one every single week would make it impossible for F2P’ers to catch up with mercs and loadouts. Then the game’s gonna be branded with P2W all over.

Also note that they’ve mentioned on stream like a week ago that merc releases will be frequent now, but a lot less frequent in the future. Which is because they still have a couple of mercs from early alpha and a couple of others planned. So if you see merc releases die down after a while it’s because you’re playing an FPS and not a moba.

I don’t play Fletcher. I don’t like Fletcher. But know that I am rooting for you!

If they would say that we give all mercs mentioned from CBT and from unreleased merc every 1 week and then give a 3 weeks or month per character.

(Grave_Knight) #14

They’re probably going to slow way down with new mercs after they re-release all the old mercs. And 50k isn’t really that hard to get.

(Hazard) #15

I hope they give the Dreiss and Garand a slight buff

but. but. WHY??? why do you do this to me?

(Mister__Wiggles) #17

Why would they need to buff the dreiss? It’s a solid weapon, good damage and accuracy it’s fine the way it is. The M14 does need a recoil nerf but that’s it, buff it any more and it will be op because a good player can dominate with it, can one hot most soft classes.

(Hazard) #18

The recent patch feels more like a nerf rather than a buff when it comes to the Dreiss, imho. RoF was nerfed from 360 to 300. I’d be happy if they buff it up to 330

(PurpleNurple) #19

As someone who mains Kira before and after the dreiss tweak it feels just fine where it’s at. It’s a very powerful gun in the hands of a competent player. I’d rather it be left as is than buffed then over-nerfed later on.

Red eyes gun is godly if you stop moving and hip fire it. Don’t bother looking down the sights.

(MissMurder) #20

As some of you have said the next update won’t have a new Merc- it’ll be another fine-tuning one. The one after that will have someone new for you though  And wait a minute! When did I tease Stoker?!
