newb terrain blending problem

Hi,
I tried some alpha terrain blending tutorials, but none of the seem to work.
I am quite sure my shaders and so on or correct but there’s still no blending ingame.
Could this be because I’m still using the q3map2 that comes with Gtk 1.3.8. ?

to let us help you it would be cool if you d post what you tried so far, your shader of course, a screenshot of how it looks ingame etc…

After you edit your terrain shaders be sure to re-compile the map. :wink:

Some blending methods (alpha volume / dotproduct) only work with newer versions of q3map2.
Download the latest q3map2 from www.shaderlab.com and recompile your map. But DON’T REPLACE the q3map2 that ships with Radiant, or you’ll get nasty errors.

add the shader to the shaderlist.txt then recompile … and give us some more info…ok ?
