Today we’re proud to announce the International Mercenary League (IML).
We founded the IML with the intention of creating a more active and engaged competitive community for Dirty Bomb. Thus the IML will feature a new ELO based ladder system that will go live with the first season on February 1st, 2016. We hope this allows teams to play on their own schedule and thus allowing easier activity. Another big part is the introduction of our ruleset which includes a drafting and banning system for mercs. In addition to that the IML will also host tournaments and cups which will feature a drafting system for maps as well. The ruleset has been proven to be a great addition to the game and after several months of internal testing we believe that it makes for a more enjoyable and involved competitive experience. To showcase this ruleset we will host a showmatch LIVE on Twitch soon. We’ll let you know in time.
As of now the ladder is open for signups, so go ahead and create teams whenever you want with whoever you want. Since the lader isn’t locked down you will be able to add players to your team later and even participate with mixes. We hope many teams are interested and will start competing more in this great game.
