did a good 2 hours work on it last nite, this detaild brushwork is more detaild that i palned but it looks v good, maby looks a lot more old and smashed up than i thought it was but i add load to effect so :banana:

the fog would be good if it changes density as the level progresses.

Will think about objectives for SP and MP…not got any ideas at the minute!

the effects sound cool as long as they dont make the machine go slow…that would be annoying…but if its only cobwebs and cracks in the walls should be ok

got any more screen shots?? :beer:

ime holding the screens for a bit untill i got the detailed brushword done so it looks prety mutch like it will

the rest sould be simple brushwork for blood and cobwebs and the bones and chains are models so they run prety fast as long as they are non dynamic (and there not gona be)

Speed is good…very good…how long do you estimatet he brushwork is gonna take…IDEA FOR SP :banghead: SAVE THE HOSTAGE TYPE THING…you can work out the real logic for it.

well actualy i have been fideling with a script that makes a character folow you, so it may be you have to resuce a prisoner then escape or go onto the next part of the mission whitch i wont make because i will be moving to d3 mapping, but if anyone wants to use this map in campain feel free (just give credit where due)

lol - ime not gona compile the ASS till the map is finished, it takes long enough to compile as it is

i no ASS only comiles the bits of the map you change but the whole thing is going under a big change

the corideoors are just about finished

all the detail brushwork on them is finished and will only need to be altered to make the cell fit in better so may not even be touched

so now its decals of blood and burns to be added then cobwebs,

although with all thge detaild brushowrk and lighting as well as key points like rooms its easy to navigate after a few times, and even though in SP mode i plan to use gates to restric movement and focus the gameplay. But just for the realy thick players i am going to place sighns on the wall hopefully these will add to the atmospher

btw if anyone could tell me how to make one of thes clipboards that would be realy helpfull

ok, bin realy busy at the mo so hant done mutch work on the map, but it will be the hols soon and then i can realy get some work done, oh and revise for AS level exams :???:

realy been slacking on the map l8ly, its not my best work and and regreting starting it. mutch of the work is very repatative in the way of placing 1000’s of cobwebs. so i am considering realeasing the map as it is with no extra decals and just work on the structure… if i dont it may look sweet but it will take the rest of my life still you neva no, i hant got nowt betta to do

here it is, btw this is the best looking part with decals they dont all look quite (anywhere near as good) as this 1

my PC has been infected with the plage so its gon to be wiped, so to pass the usual mapping time i decided to try learn some new things for my map, vis portals and hint brushes… Well now i understand what they do i kick myself in the teeth just thinking about it. My hole map is structural so there must be millions of vis portals. Therfore i have hung this map for ever

i am now teaching someone the basics of mapping so at least this will be useful know
