Will Dirty Bomb make new weapons for each character? In which we’ll have to open the crates with them or whatever? It’d be nice to have new weapons every so often. Just like tf2 and CS:GO! It’s great, haha. Much appreciated. Also, isn’t there already a new character or something? With a new gun and stuff? I thought I saw something about it in the game.
New Weapons Etc.
Mercs have different loadouts from common to rare when you open crates. Its like opening case in csgo, you cross your fingers to get a good one.
I can only guess there will be a tonne of different weapons in the game before release. It is just balancing them and getting it so people avoid that horrible expression “Pay to Win”
I know how it works, what I’m asking is if they’re making new weapons for the characters or just new weapons in general? Keeping the same ol’ stuff gets boring. New content and things of that nature keep people interested an playing, like CS:GO and Tf2. It’s fine to have the old stuff, but new stuff keeps people wanting more. I’m not saying the game is boring, it’s quite fun compared to other free to play games. I just hope they can keep players interested with new maps, new modes and weapons. That’s all.
Since its nexon whos publishing it , you can Always provide NX weapons / items / mercs .
We’ll see at the open beta / release of the game .
So are they in game yet? Because I would like to try them out, but I haven’t seen any drop.
Nothing can be said for sure at the moment. Except, that this game is going to change drastically.
However I can firmly say, new classes are going to be added (and re-added from previous testing) to the game as it progresses and the Dev team sees fit.
I think this will work like a MOBA in shooter-form.
We have different Merc=characters=“classes”.
We can find random loadouts, which are “weapons” compared to TF2, etc.
Maybe Nexon decides to not bring only new weapons out, but new loadouts or entire new characters.

The moba stuff is interesting but in the other hand, the cards are not all that much attractive. I know it depends the player habits. In TF2, it’s all balanced so all associations of items (skills) and weapons can work together perfectly, more or less. But in DB, skills ARE (randomly?) ASSOCIATED to weapons , you have no choice at all. You’d like to pick 1 skill and bind it to another weapon or another skill, but no, you can’t. So i’m sticking to basic character loadout. Everytime i unlock a crate i’m like “yyyyeeeeaaaaahuuuuuuh wait whut?? man them skills are crap, too bad, i like the weapon.”. And in a fps, choosing by default is really negative. My favorite idea is still “1 card = 1 skill”, then equip 2 cards by characters (1 activ, 1 passiv). And it wold allows player cards exchange! Well just sayin =/
