Splendid reading comprehension there, sir Sherlock! I was under the impression that taste was subjective - my bad! Here I was thinking that Shattered Horizon fit the bill perfectly, being a reasonably critically acclaimed and commercially successful game taking place in zero G environments, allowing for 360° movement, but alas, I forgot to account for AnthonyDa’s objective measure of quality in an entertainment product.
If taste is subjective, why do you attack him on it? Maybe shattered horizon was greatly welcomed by the critic I for one think its a POS… Is that a crime?

I tried it when it was ftp on Steam, didn’t like it. Worst problem was performance though, for some reason the game was stuck at 6 fps and opening up a menu would crash the game.
SH is not bad game.
especially as [1st]“proof-of-concept” game.
making benchmark!=developing game.
so without serious experience of gamedev, some things going slower to grow up inside team.

R was made Max Payne 1/2 with RS, but its quite different experience[4 plenty of reasons]as well as different genre.
