New update - Does anyone else think it's a bit too much?

Okay so don’t take offense it’s just to point things out and perhaps tell me something I may be missing. Right so basicly I personally think everything is too overpriced e.g. the trinkets and god few other things. It’s like few of the new currency credits to earn per match and 60 for a challenge when the trinkets are like 2,000-4,000. I wouldnt mind it being expensive and I know you have to get money some way but is this a bit too much, the way that Im a casual gamer and their is not enough content e.g. maps, mercs, guns, etc. To keep me playing for 5 weeks straight to get like 2 items if Im lucky not to mention I have a life, I do not wish to play this game for 10 hours straight to get an item that sits on the side of my gun and has no other purpose. Other then that the updates quite cool and I like it.

Well they don’t make money from this other than the obsidian pack and skullsplitter, you can’t really get cycles with real money. But you’re kinda gaining the currency two fold, first you get the cycles from missions and completing games, but you also get credits which you can turn into cycles. If you get 50 000 credits (which is easy peasy in 5 weeks time, even if you play casually) you can already get all I feel is necessary, the most expensive trinket and the culprit case

Just played 16 games got 34 credits. Theirs other methods of getting money e.g. Trinkets that are buyable, Camo’s, pay to play game is the biggest one, etc.

34 credits or 34 cycles? If you received 34 cycles that means you earned roughly 340 credits over 16 games. I would love to see any screenshots you may have of these games or screenshots of what you earn in your next 16 games to compare them to.

Thanks.

@Swifty pay 2 play is the way to get a tiny playerbase unless you’re a big well known company, 16 games and 34 credits is impossible unless you have had the bug when the server doesn’t give anything (credits, xp and cycles) which has been happening a lot since the update (tbh most servers feel kinda laggy atm, eu comp servers can go up to 100 ping…)

And I had actually expected way more from this update, sd has been working on this for like 4-5 months? Yet there’s barely been any merc and gun balancing (the pdp isn’t the only broken weapon) bugs that have been in the game for months have still not been fixed. Sd seems to have spend most of their time on an audio system which makes underground unplayable since the entire map sounds like a cave (not pleasant except for taunts sounding quite nice) and has made it even harder to trace where gun shots come from, I now actually have moments when I hear someone shooting behind me when they’re straight in front of me…

I imagine you meant cycles, but just to amuse the idea, every match you played should have lasted 0,17 minutes with the current credits per minute ratio, lol. And I really counted to their means of getting money only the ones that came with this update. Of course there’s buying mercs too

Bullshit ,16 games and 34 credits or cycles ? You lost all credibility there mate

Everything there is a skin. Be happy that they’re giving you an opportunity to unlock skins by in-game currency. Go find me another game where they’re so generous as to allow you to unlock good skins by just playing the game. Not even CS:GO gives you a chance to unlock good skin for free, and you have to pay for that game in the first place.

Got a life? Then use money and buy credit boosters and convert those. Got no life? Then use time.

Then don’t? No one forces you to do it lol.

And to be honest it’s the correct price, with 100k credits you can get everything and still have some Cycles left for Suspect cards and you’ll even earn more Cycles just by playing (and not 34 in 16 games, don’t lie). So just by spending 50k credits and playing a bit over 5 weeks you’ll easily get all the trinkets and the Culprit case.
