NEW UNRELEASED MERCS

I was poking around my dirty bomb local files when bam, I found a file with all the mercs in. As I looked through there were 4 characters that we haven’t yet seen.

A pyro sort of character - http://i.imgur.com/6HZJu8i.png

Another Heavy - http://i.imgur.com/Z7IrnnX.png
Defensive Char - http://i.imgur.com/pfg3vLj.png - From the scrubs trailer there was a character that appeared to have a place able shield this looks like him if you look at the equipment on his back.

Dont belive me check out this directory - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dirty Bomb\ShooterGame\Content\WebAssets\images\characters\cards\large and you will find them

They were included in the closed beta.
There are even gameplay videos on youtube in which you can see them. :smile:

Their names are:
Stoker
Aimee
Thunder
Turtle

In fact we have seen these all before, These were mercs created before the game was on steam, and were used during the alpha state of the game… if you want to see some gameplay check on youtube :slight_smile:

names in order were Stoker, Aimee, Thunder and Turtle

Hate to break it to you but those aren’t unknown mercs. There’s some in-game footage with atleast two of them from Early Beta.

Don’t say that around Faraleth! They have a secret agenda to get Javelin written in as Nader’s wife… though I am sure Javelin is in fact female, to be fair we really know nothing about them yet.

I’ll be disappointed if Javelin’s male… We need more tanky women. So far, they’re all frail little individuals aside from Nader. :confused: C’mon, badass with a rocket launcher, please :L Would be nice if she was a little older too, because they’re all so young so far!

Yeah she better be a woman! And she better be Nader’s wife! We need more female characters in general, not even just tanky ones, though if Javelin has around 120-140HP it’ll be perfect.

Can we like…Not going on that whole gender-sexuality-thing in a FPS-game-forum? This will possibly end in a shitstorm since many people have very different POVs on that topic and many people will get upset if they don’t accept other POVs.

Only one that wasn’t in the the CBT at one point or another is Turtle. Pretty sure the other three were even present at the end of CBT.
