New tree models for download here + shaders Now

Hi, I love reality and therefore posting this

here 1 pack - 4 tree models , trees arent mine but downloaded free models somewhere and converted and improved by me, If you not like it, make it better. Also they are without animation, if anyone want to do it or make script for animation.

Sorry that I dont post screens, but they look good and realistically, they are not animated . Download and you see, extract to etmain
1 pack will be located in models/mapobjects/EFtrees
2 pack will be located in models/mapobjects/vna-trees

1 thing. When you unzip EFtrees models from zip , it install EFtrees to
models/mapobjets ( it is wrong )
here is right models/mapobjects ( it is right )

You can move EFtrees folder manually to right place

That site is a pain in the arse. Some of the buttons are not showing up correctly in IE 7 and when I didn’t get the code right and it wanted stick me back in the que. Not worth the wait.

And I think that some of this trees need better modeling improvement , I not like trunck on 1 model. this is probably my finished last work and I end with everything. Animation made by scripting will be good for max realitty

np. I added only an alpha channel and removed the black color.
Was a matter of minutes to do that.
Would you please test it and post a screenshot?

Bersrkr ok . I was trying alphachannel in Gimp and Gimp is a bit shit ( not work) or I am not good

Gimp is good. I made the changes in Gimp. :slight_smile:
But it’s a little bit complicated to handle, that’s true.

Ok Berserkr I replaced your models with alpha channel textures by my , load test map I tested trees before and it seems not work

Don’t understand why you still see the texture without transparency.
Tested one texture in ET itself and it worked.

Anybody knows a solution?

You need a shader file to make the alpha transparent.
