New Stopwatch rules?

How exactly does Stopwatch work now? I played a pub game on Bridge, we held the EV at a certain spot during the second objective on defense, then when we reached past that spot as attackers the game immediately ended and we won. Later, during a comp match on Terminal, we held both containers on the last objective, but on attack we did not immediately win after blowing up the first container.

Although they changed the win / lose rules, they may not have yet re-coded all the variations on the immediate game end. I assume you still won that game on Terminal?

Yeah but we got the second container before the timer went out. I was wondering why we didn’t immediately win when we got the first one.

For your first point you were able to escort the E.V further than your opponents which results in a immediate win. As for your second point I have no idea why.

Stopwatch in this game is an odd one. There are times when both teams complete two and a half objectives, yet my team completes it faster and it ends up in a draw.

For example, on Chapel my team repaired 2 minutes faster, escorted the e.v. to the end 4 minutes faster then their team, delivered the first emp, but were held off from delivering the second. They were able to deliver the first, but we were also able to prevent the second. We ended up in a tie.
