NEW Shadow Lake Sniper Map - Coming Soon!!

[b]Okay boys & girls, a buddy of mine and i have come up with a new sniper map that im
hoping everyone will enjoy, its a beta so it will need to be tested out and see how it works.

Axis and Allie sides are identical to give equal opportunity killing! :slight_smile:
No team will have any advantage over the other, its all about skill baby!!

here are some screenshots and Beta 1 should be ready for release thur. or fri.

(some may know my first sniper map {when i was in a different clan} and it was such a
big hit that i wanted to do another one, and now that i have my own clan i figured it
was perfect timing for another new sniper map)

when the map is released it will be on this server!

Have you thought about doing alpha blending of the textures around the top of the cliff and the grass? Also, I’m assuming this was a quick complie with the lighting turned off

i dunno about the map but u should check 1000 times before u start a clan

cause shadow clan allready exist

maybe you should take a side of the map each and battle for the name!! We could all watch on ETTV- Winner takes all - watch out for northerner’s secret tunnel under the sea

i did check around and never seen a shadow clan for ET, sorry but you guys must not be very popular! plus your euro’s. i registered our url almost a year ago, but just got the clan put together. there are dozens of shadow clans for all various games tho. but since we have different tags there is plenty of room for both of us! oh, and i seen your forum where your calling us thiefs… give me a break!

Thats right Body Modifiers meaning you have to MOD the main game.

im not a members of the First shadow clan (im onlyt admin there) but i need to say: “sorry but you guys must not be very popular” so if they arent popular u can pick they clan Name? "i registered our url almost a year ago, " yeah… but we(they) are playing with this name for abote 2 years… ane next thing… if u wanna steal clan names = ok …but dont call your clan “HONOR , TRUST , LOYALITY” couse maybe u r LOYALITY or Trust but i dont see eny Honor is stealing clan names! (Those words are evrywhere on your WebSite)

ffs, so what if there is 2 ET clans with the same name, this isnt a flame thread, if you want to discuss clan name stealing with him then use the PM system thats what its there for.

yeah, just sftu you noob and stop worrying so much about it! my last clan i was in had been around since rtcw demo and there is 5 other clans with the same tags and we didnt cry about it! everyone had different colors and a little variation so what does it matter! i even did a search for shadow clans and there are tons of them but i never came across yours?

and angelo your right, this shouldnt be a flaming area, just pisses me off when someone cant let go over something so trivial!
and thanks bud for the compliment, hopefully the map will be out tonight or tomorrow!
just have to make the command map and that will be the hard part… for me at least!

hope all you snipers out there enjoy this one as much as my last map!
this is Beta1 so any bugs or revisions will be changed when Beta2 is released

I do have ae_sniper _practice as a alt to the usual campaign cycle running on a server im a admin to.it is popular and in many games i have had to extend the time as sniper maps seem to go so fast.So when shadow lake is fixed and no glitches im keen to have a look at it and put it on the server to see how the et sniper comunity like it here,

If i can make just 1 sugestion…as i said above the map will at most time with some players want a time extention,so perhaps adding 5 or perhaps 10 minuts to the usual 20 minuts so that the players get a good go at it…Its just a sugestion ,As i dont no about other server admins but i dont run a sniper map in a campaign i find it best to run it in a seperate cfg/pk as a alternitive so a time of a extra 5 or so minuts would make no diff if you get my meening…

i have to apologize but it seems there is a texture bug in this map.

i have asked the major mirrors to delete this map from there downloads untill it is fixed.

the map maker is away for a few weeks and when he gets back, i will tell him of the problems and we can start working to get it fixed and improve on the map also!

sorry for any troubles this caused!
