I just got Arty 3 days ago to use with dat obsidian card.

His strike sucks, but the Dreiss AR makes up for it… kind of.
As for no phantom…

You guys remember how annoying GRENATEN was, right?

Fletcheeeer, I was hoping he’d come in rotation. I’m trying to decide whether to buy him or Bushwhacker, so it’s nice to get to try him out while I still remember how horrible I did with bushwhacker!

Fletcher and Arty…throwback to the first free rotation I ever was in, back when there were only 2 on rotation. I never really played Arty though. Let’s see how he does now.

Sweet rotation, all em free Arties are gonna give some data to figure out why he isn’t played so much and treated accordingly ^^ And as of Fletcher. Who can have enough of this?

No Phantom is kinda surprising, would have been good to see how the majority of players work with him.

Does anyone else apart from me realize that all of these mercs literally counter phantom? Not sure about Arty, but Fragger and Fletcher eat him up.

I feel like this rotation is to show people that Phantom is actually not OP and that you actually need to think your picks when it comes to mercs, and not only that, but add in some more common sense and probably not run after that Phantom that you shot as Aura just because he’s got low hp.

While I agree with the rest of your post, I also absolutely disagree with this one bit. There’s simply no reason I should have to take one merc over another because it’s the only way to deal with a single other character, that’s just silly. After playing a lot this week there’ve been a lot of moments where I really wish phantom were tweaked a bit, but as he is now I’ve found his weaknesses - as few as they are - and use them. Fragger is especially great at dispelling phantoms.
