My Steam just updated Brink and just wanted to know what or where the release notes are for this patch?

That’s what I assumed. Most likely removing something.

That’s correct, it’s to do with the shutdown of the statistics site announced by Bethesda over here: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1196830-stats-site-faq/page__pid__17791596#entry17791596

It’s funny because I JUST made my stats account like a month or two ago and I had only maybe 2-3 games on record.

It would have been cool if this sort of thing was integrated into the game’s interface itself.

True. But you would still need a database running on the backend. I think that is what was taken down.
