New Nerf For phantom? RIP, Nerf Murders that class.

So Not being able to twist while swinging sword with either attack 1 or attack 2 , is a MEGA nerf and completely Underpowers him . I know most say that he was OP before, but i beg to differ when it comes to those who know how to play against him and to mind that he is out there. Now that toon is just ruined completely not being able to even spin when swinging a knife/katana? Should just remove phantom from the game. Cuz i know im done playin that toon unless thats changed.

The skill floor was raised. Adapt.

He shouldnt be able to wildly swing his katana and kill multiple people in a single swipe…or several people in such a short time frame. Especially not with the low cooldown, cloak, shield, etc.

Despite multiples, Okay i understand that. TO AN EXTENT. BUT What human being is unable to twist their body, or spin in a circle whilst swinging a sword? I know this is a game, but damn.

You didn’t tried him right? It’s not like the skill floor has been raised, he’s clearly unplayable and that’s what they wanted to happen because they didn’t know how to change him, i have no other idea why he is in that state otherwise; before it was ok against good player and stomped on noobs, now it’s just a pain to play him, the only decent thing he have is the KeK, and i’d rather play another merc if the strongest point of a class is a weapon that other classes have

Phantom is still very powerful against average pub players (edit: …that is, as an above average player.)

I don’t use the katana so I can’t speak to how effective that is now although I’d have preferred it be a single shot weapon rather than still be a chainsaw but with unnatural feeling control restrictions. I doubt anyone could argue that it took skill before but this isn’t how I’d have introduced a skill floor.

[/quote]Personally, I think all they should have down was fix the beyblade turn radius melee spam, remove his shield, make his less visible, maybe a slightly longer cloak cooldown, and also make him have a slight delay before he could attack out of cloak.

He shouldnt be tanky. SD should just stick to him being a deadly stealth scout. Without a shield and with higher invisibility, he would be high risk and reward. If not spotted, he could wreak havoc…but if spotted, he would be dispatched easily.

He’s clearly not “unplayable”. Though he is a bit bland now. Everyone needs to stop with the hyperbole and post real experience and try to adapt if we are ever going to get him tuned to where he is balanced AND fun. Right now he’s balanced, but not fun. Before, he was fun, but not balanced. Quit over-exaggerating and try to constructively contribute to fixing him.
