More likely that a lot of the students that play DB are studying furiously for finals right now.
We should see a bounce once school ends for the summer though, it happens to every game

Not saying that’s the only reason for the dropping playerbase though

Feels so sad to see this game had so many players even tho IMO they have only improved the game over time and how they care about the game + uploading videos weekly of whats going on.

Dirty Bomb for me has been one of the best f2p game.

That’s why SD have to play carefully their cards. Playerbase will at least triplicate, a the release day of 1.0. The question is, will the new playerbase stay ???

Right now the game with the latest patch became much worse IMO. I will reinstall the game when ranked will come back, for example.

It’s time to focus less on casuals and cater to the game carriers.

Sorry but I got to laugh, the game has never had less to do than it does now, and it’s suppose to get more players?

I found something: once the number goes below 1000, Steamcharts needs to display one digits less, which means fewer pixels have to light up, which means less power is necessary. This will certainly save a couple of trees and some Artic ice.
