So we know for sure two new mercs that will be released this year.
Javelin and Turtle.
Javelin we know very little of, but she(yes that’s right SHE) is another heavy class and will have a rocket launcher as an ability with probably a relatively long cool down time.
But as she is a heavy, she has a very unique feature, both her primary and secondaries are SMG’s.
But doesn’t that make her OP?No as she will likely have slow movement speed and a relatively lower health pool for the class around 140.
And as I mentioned earlier, she will have a long cool down on the rocket.
Now one of the more controversial characters being turtle, we can speculate that he is an engineer as there are four mercs of every other class, engineer only has three, and he made the fake arm for Phoenix.
So he is most likely a engineer.
He has a shield which you can place as cover and to block doors, so I think a very powerful ability, but it needs something else, so maybe if a friendly is in the proximity they get a faster cool down on abilities.
He will probably have a health pool of 110 or 120.
For new merc suggestions I suggest a new fire support merc, but this one has an EMP ability to the EV that stops it for 15 seconds and has 25 second cool down if used on EV and only 5 if used on enemy mercs as it could double as a gun, this suggested merc could be called Zapper(just a suggestion) and have a health pool of around 110 or 120.
He carries the SMG-9 as default, and can have maybe a kek 10 and crotzni.
This merc does not have an ammo station but small ammo-pack.
The lor for this merc Is as a Canadian IT specialist who developed his “Zap gun”
The zap gun has 2 seconds to charge and unlimited range.
The next merc is a sniper, with IR goggles, and refractive armor, his stock rifle is the Fel-iX and can have the PdP, MOAR and Driess.
But I think an invisible sniper could be cool.
2ndary gun is a revolver in all cases.
Melee is a stiletto to prevent him becoming an OP phantom.
(Just suggestions) we could call her mist and she could have a health pool of only 80 as she has refractive armor.
Lor being she stole phantoms 2nd suite and they can build an event off that, where Mist is searching for Phantom to kill him for the final suite, the merc who wins will be the won who is played the most.
Who ever wins you get an Obsidian card for.
New maps idea’s.
Every month a random map gets uploaded for testing from the community, that way the community gets to make maps(with a new map making software in the game).
Those are my suggestions to keep the game alive.

javelin is the more controversial merc, we dont want more oh shit buttons to one shoot people, even if it has 70s cooldown, and from what i seen she is more like nader not fragger
and that emp would be broken as hell in comp, 15s is a shit ton of time
and you cant take to main abilities and give it to one merc, but i agree phantom with sniper rifle would be cool to play
They were just ideas. They would need to be refined, but u have good points, I think maybe fagtom sniper might be OP.
I think we could have a merc with a hacking ability that shuts down enemy deployables would be cool.

and i didnt know about jav having a double smg from where did you get that info ?
and for zapper how to say NO cause imagine 15 second the ev cant be moved after he get destroyed and after it the engneers will not even have enough time to repair and push in under 10 second before sap use his abilty again

Aye, He was the original owner of the FEL-IX and the Blishlok was originally turtle’s default primary.
How about a merc that throughs teer-gas.
We could call him Gasser.
He could have the SMG-9 as a primary(stock) Tolen MP as secondary(stock)and beckel as melee (stock).He can have 130HP and ammo station as 2nd ability as he is fire support.

wouldnt that be like molotovs with no real changes ?
I think Javelin would be a game breaker rockets are probably a massive instant kill on lots of players and there are many close quarters in DB.
I would like a medic that could throw a healing grenade of some sort
Aoe instant healing is Pheonix’s thing. Aura, for sustained periods. - Ranged revives are reserved for Sparks. (please)
true give him an ammo pack just to change from stocker
or even add to red-eye cause personnaly i find him weak only in vetran hand cause of the good aim with grandeur + the free xp just when you use his goggles
but his smoke is pretty useless in mid range even if the grandeur (maybe make it a total impossible to see in the smoke would help too even if you’re in it
